The Estate

Established in 1977, Meadowcroft was the vision and of the late Robert Bolus. Not only did Robert appreciate nature and beautiful landscapes he also believed in the preservation of the past and weaved these stories throughout the Estate. You will find many local history pieces here and feel the pride of a man who was the son of the local butcher and butcher shop owner who owned this land before him. Robert spent his life creating at Meadowcroft and he transformed 25 acres of pasture land into enchanting woodlands, walking paths, boardwalks, ponds and landscapes that speak to curiosity, wonder and nature at it’s finest.

Together with my husband Nick, we own and operate Meadowcroft Estate. Just like our love story, the first time I ever viewed Meadowcroft it was love at first sight. With it’s 25 acres of lush gardens, open meadows and forest I was enchanted. Established in 1977, Meadowcroft was the vision of the late Robert Bolus and the wonders he created here at the Estate captivated me, drew me in and spoke to my dreams and aspirations. I was home.
